After a 20-year career in the Army as a Flight Paramedic and several years as a Life Flight Paramedic in the civilian world, Adam decided to retire from both those career fields and open Zulu Foxtrot Guns & Weaponry. Years ago he started with the adult’s version of the barbie or lego’s, the AR-15. He spent way too much on his first rifle and most of those parts today are gone or in a box for the “Next Build,” except for the lower. Adam then moved into long-range shooting and found a new, expensive passion. Then he needed color, and instead of shipping his parts off, he built a cabinet to do Cerakote in. He has a passion of building AR-15s, AR-10s or, custom firearms for people and providing them a quality build, while not breaking the bank.
Wayne: After a brief time in the Army serving two tours in Afghanistan with a Reconnaissance Surveillance Target Acquisition team, Wayne was medically retired for wounds sustained in combat and found himself back home in Rapid City. He worked for several years out of his garage doing custom motorcycle work before being hired on at Zulu Foxtrot Guns and Weaponry. He is well versed in his knowledge on firearms from antiques to weapons used across the globe by foreign militaries. He enjoys expanding his knowledge and training to further become more proficient in what he loves to do.
James joined the Army at the young age of 18 but before joining considered a career in the Marines. After an unresponsive recruiter settled with the Army! Post-graduation from basic he was one of 2 soldiers chosen for a slot in ranger school, which he eagerly agreed to. However, two weeks into the prestigious training James was injured and unable to finish. James continued his career as a Avionics repairman in the SD National Guard, receiving a medical discharge. James currently enjoys modifying cars for drifting, shooting, building guns, and video games. James is getting back into the guard but will still remain full time here at ZFG&W.
